An Enemy of the People

I was very excited to watch this when I realised that Alex Kingston, who played River Song in Doctor Who, was in this performance.

The performance was really well done, as well as the set design. However, the ending of the play itself was confusing, as Alex Kingston's character, Dr. Stockmann repeatedly says that she is alone. I understand why it was done as Dr. Stockmann is alone in standing who what her research has revealed, but her family is there with her, and she is the one that walks away.
